I was interviewing a sculptor for an article I’m writing for work. He mentioned how much he loves the interaction with kids that he gets and their questions they have about his work.
“Children have no fear of repercussion,” he said. “The wonderment of running around in a superhero pajamas with a cape on it, acting like a total fool. Society says we, as adults can’t do that; the things they say is just so awesome.” -John Petrey
I saw this picture and it reminded me of what little fear children have. It’s astounding to think of the many times I’ve changed my outfit because I don’t think I look good, or the analyzation of what I’m going to say to a friend.
I won’t hold on to fear anymore.
I think it’s about time I put my cape back on and enjoy life.
