My name is Lauren Brooks.

I love Jesus.

I love music.

I will be the first to admit, I don’t have most of life figured out. Writing has always been a way for me to express myself. My hope is that through my writing, you will find a way to connect with me through my life–the victories, the struggles, the joys, and the messiness of it all. Through this blog, I hope it will elicit conversations about race, faith, vulnerability, and loving one another so that we can better understand each other, and also see life through a different lens than our own.
